Ariana Grande drops ‘Petal’ behind-the-scenes video, leaves fans emotional
Ariana Grande has dropped the latest installment of her Petal music video, offering a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes.
Taking to her official Instagram account on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the thank u, next alum dropped a new installment of her recently launched music video.
The 7 rings hitmaker captioned the post, “part two of petal behind the scenes out now” … (adding a flower emoji).
In the black-and-white video, while discussing the project, Grande said she did not want to reveal too much about the video, but highlighted how it reflects different sides of working in the music industry.
Ariana stated, “I know that I'm not gonna say much about this video but what I do want to make sure to say is that I love that it captures both sides of what can be experienced in the industry because the ending is very much my experience right now I get to make things with collaborators that I love and respect so much and I feel really grateful to be able to do it and I have the best fans in the entire world.”

Ariana Grande will have a short break until she returns with a string of ten performances at London's O2 Arena beginning on August 15th and running through September 1st, which will mark the end of her Eternal Sunshine tour.
However, she has also sparked fan concern with her Petal video, directed by Christian Breslauer, where the Oscar-nominated actress looked alarmingly thin, and her ribs were visible on her chest.
