Chris Pratt is back as James Reece in the action-packed trailer for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, marking his return to the franchise four years after the first season of The Terminal List.
Prime Video unveiled the first teaser trailer for the second season of The Terminal List on Thursday, August 20, with the Passengers star returning as Navy SEAL Commander James Reece.
The second season arrives four years later, with James embarking on a “journey of violent redemption” and seeking a new purpose after finishing his list.
“Before he was a fugitive, James Reece made a career out of putting terrorists in the dirt,” an official can be heard saying in the trailer.
The trailer added, “He may be exactly what we need for this fight.”
James’ new lease on life takes a tragic turn as he faces death.
“I don’t want you taking chances just ‘cause you got one foot in the grave,” said Katie Buranek, a journalist who partnered with James on a previous mission.
James responded, “Having one foot in the grave is exactly what we need.”
Soon after the trailer dropped the fans swamped to the comment section to express their excitement.
One fan noted, “True believer is a great book.”
Another commented, “Such a gorgeous trailer.”
The third said, “Finally it about time.”

To note, The Terminal List season 1, based on Jack Carr’s bestselling novel, introduced James as he returned from a disastrous ambush with conflicting memories of what happened.
Driven by vengeance, he hunted down those responsible for the mission and the fallout that devastated his personal life.
Alongside Pratt, the second season stars Tom Hopper, Constance Wu, Dar Salim, Luke Hemsworth and Gabriel Luna.
Taylor Kitsch starred in the spinoff series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf that debuted in 2025.
The Terminal List season 2 will debut all eight episodes on Prime Video on October 21.
