After his residence, Salman Khan's venture is also at stake as a major fire catches the actor's Gym franchise in Delhi.

On Thursday, August 20th, around 10:15 pm, the fire brigade was alerted after a gym franchise associated with the Bollywood actor in Delhi's Greater Kailash caught fire.

Police personnel reached the location before the firefighters and evacuated everyone present inside the gym as a precaution.

According to police, the fire was brought under control after fire brigade personnel arrived at the spot.

The exact cause of the blaze is still being investigated, although a short circuit is suspected to have triggered the fire.

PTI said no major damage or casualties were reported, as all occupants were evacuated safely in time.

Salman Khan's residence at risk after security guard's death?

This update came a few weeks after Salman Khan's Galaxy apartment in Mumbai’s security guard died suddenly during his duty hours.

Police had attributed his death to a heart attack. He was performing state protection duty outside the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star’s residence at the time.

Why Salman Khan needs security in Gym and residence?

The actor has been provided enhanced security over threats allegedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has repeatedly targeted Khan over the actor’s alleged connection to the black buck hunting case dating back to the 1990s.

Notably, the infamous actor’s security concerns intensified after the April 2024 firing outside his Galaxy apartment in Mumbai.

The investigation into the case allegedly linked the attack to instructions from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, with the shooting being viewed as an attempt to intimidate the actor.

Bishnoi’s threats against Khan have been connected to the black buck case. The Bishnoi community considers the animal sacred, and the issue has remained a key part of the gangster’s stated hostility towards the actor.

The film marks his first collaboration with acclaimed Telugu producer Dil Raju and director Vamshi Paidipally.
