In an email sent to fans, Sabrina reflected on the impact of the album, as she reminisces about the two years.
"Short n' Sweet, an album that completely changed my life. I feel like I blinked!!" she wrote, before thanking fans for turning the record from something that "once was mine" into something that became "ours".
The message ended with a particularly intriguing tease, reading, "p.s. something sweet drops tomorrow, see ya then!"
Sabrina did not specify what the release will be, leaving fans to speculate about whether the surprise could involve previously unreleased music or a brand new piece of Short n' Sweet-era content.

Following the message that sparks fans' excitement, Sabrina turned to her Instagram account to mark the album's second anniversary.
She shared the Spotify cover of Short n' Sweet, alongside the text which read, "2 very sweet years. thank you for all of it."
The Manchild singer followed the Instagram Story with a series of photographs from that era, including a video of her preparing a stage performance.

Released on August 23, 2024, through Island Records, Short n' Sweet became her sixth studio album, introducing Sabrina to a brand new audience.
Its success accelerated with Espresso and Please Please Please, both of which topped the Billboard Global 200.
Short n' Sweet ultimately topped album charts in 18 countries and earned multi-platinum certifications across 10 nations.
At the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, the album and its songs received six nominations, with Carpenter taking home Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for Espresso.
