King Charles enjoyed a rare experience during his latest outing.
On Thursday, August 27, the British monarch was spotted behind the wheel as he drove a Range Rover through Braemar in Aberdeenshire, GB News reported.
The King’s latest outing marked his first public sighting since the return of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, from the US.
In the photos, Charles appeared in "good spirits," wearing a crisp checked shirt and beige overcoat, with his flat cap resting on the dashboard.
Accompanying the monarch was a security guard in the passenger seat.
It is pertinent to mention that it is unknown where King Charles was heading to.
This comes amid His Majesty’s ongoing annual summer break in Scotland, during which he has been staying at the Highland estate.
