Adam Scott has shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, describing the couple’s nuptials as a “really moving” celebration.
Speaking on the September 2 episode of Esquire’s What I’ve Learned podcast, the Hokum star recalled attending Swift and Kelce’s lavish nuptials in New York City two months earlier.
Scott recalled feeling honoured that he and his wife were invited, saying they were “so flattered and delighted” to be among the guests.
“It was really something,” Scott said, before adding, “It was really an incredible thing to obviously be invited to, and to go witness.”
The Party Down actor found it “striking and really lovely” how the celebration was much like any other couple’s wedding rather than a spectacle, despite the bride and groom’s stardom.
Fellow wedding guest Graham Norton previously shared a similar sentiment.
“At the end of the day, it really just felt like a regular wedding,” Scott said.
He added, “At its core, I mean, it was, you know, a lot of people and a big deal and stuff, but at its core, it was just a really sweet wedding with people who really care about each other and these two families coming together.”
Scott continued, “And that just happened in front of us, and it was really, really moving.”
He shared that Swift, 36, is “such a nice, generous person.”
Scott first opened up about the nuptials on Today on Monday, August 24, where he again stressed how “real” the wedding was.
“You know what, I think the thing we walked away with, the impression we had more than anything, was that it was a real wedding. You had the sense that these are just people who love each other,” Scott said at that time.
He added, “It was kind of on a grand scale — there were more people than were at my wedding — but at its core, it just felt like a regular wedding with two people coming together.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce married on July 3, 2026, in a highly private, star-studded ceremony held at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City.
