Meghan Markle remained unfazed as she shares first exciting update after with King Charles' public announcement on her and Prince Harry's Royal status.
In a shocking turn of events on Monday, September 8, the 77-year-old monarch released an official statement making his postition clear on Harry and Meghan's existing Royal status despite returning to the UK last month.
As per senior Royal correspondent Rebecca English, "The King has laid out his position on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returning to the UK in a letter to 'senior stakeholders', including the government, military and Lord Lieutenancies, from his Lord Chamberlain."
Rebecca went on to share that Charles' in his letter "makes clear that the 'Sandringham agreement' still stands - they are private individuals and are no longer working members of the Royal Family."
Just hours after this announcement was made by King Charles' office, Meghan turned to her lifestyle brand, As Ever's official Instagram account to hint at her long weekend plans with a delightful new photo.
"Long weekend plans with As ever" wrote the duchess alongside a photo of her from what appeared to be a garden of her UK home, affectionately caressing her dog.
