Kensington Palace reveals William's mission after King Charles clarifies Harry, Meghan's status

Prince William has seemingly broken his silence after King Charles III made Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal position "clear."

After His Majesty's scathing message to the Sussexes, Kensington Palace has revealed the Prince of Wales' "powerful" mission, which he has begun this week.

On Monday, September 7th, the future monarch has started a mission, along with a heartfelt message, as they marked the start of Air Ambulance Week.

About William and Kate's powerful mission 

Taking to their joint Instagram account, the Prince and Princess of Wales re-posted the video, "Air Ambulance Week starts today," they wrote over the footage.

Their sturdy message is "simple" but meaningful, raising awareness through a campaign to help people in need via the air.

"Air ambulance charities across the UK provide lifesaving care to people when they need it most. But behind every mission is a network of supporters who help make that care possible," the message read.

William and Kate Middleton added, "Together, we can help more people understand the lifesaving role of air ambulance charities."

The mission started with the royal couple, who served as full-time pilots for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) from July 2015 to July 2017, operating out of Cambridge Airport.

William is also serving as patron of London's Air Ambulance Charity, helping raise millions for new aircraft alongside supporters like David Beckham. 

This powerful message from Kate Middleton and Prince William comes a few hours after King Charles sent a personal letter, clarifying the royal status of Harry and Meghan, who have returned to the United Kingdom alongside their two kids, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.

King Charles' clear message to Harry, Meghan on their royal status 

Despite welcoming his estranged son wholeheartedly, His Majesty made it clear that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will remain non-working royals and will not be participating in any royal duties.

The letter has been sent with the intention to clarify the status of Harry and Meghan; it also said that they will still not be able to use the titles of "His and Her Royal Highness," and they will remain private citizens of the UK, London.

King Charles' message came shortly after Harry appeared to have been pictured for the first time since his return, with a photo on social media showing him at a London TV and podcast studio.

Why William not please with the return of his younger brother, Prince Harry?

So far, neither Prince Harry nor Meghan Markle has responded to King Charles' message and Prince William's "silent celebration." 

The future monarch might be delighted with the recent development in the royal family, as His Royal Highness was reportedly was not pleased with the return of his younger brother. 

Previous royal reports also claimed that the two brothers, who have not on speaking terms, have been estranged since the Duke of Sussex humialiated him in his 2021 release memoir, Spare.
