Prince Harry has dropped a surprising new update amid reports of a "heated" exchange with King Charles.

The Duke of Sussex - who reportedly had a confrontation with his father over monarch's shocking letter clarifying Harry and Meghan's current royal status, has announced first major event overseas since returning to the UK.

On Friday, September 11, the official Instagram account of Harry's Invictus games announced, "Invictus Australia Sports Festival 2026"

Duke's team confirmed that the multi-sporting event "is confirmed as arriving in Perth from 23–25 October."

"Presented by ATCO, this event will bring together competitors, family members, friends and volunteers, for two days of adaptive sport, connection and recovery," added the caption alongside the post featuring two Australian athletes.

"We are expanding recovery Beyond the #InvictusGames to ensure we can help as many members of the global Invictus Community as possible," it concluded.
