Taylor Swift has been mercilessly mocked online after fans spotted an apparent Photoshop fail in a teaser for her upcoming new music.
On Tuesday, the Opalite singer revealed her upcoming new single Patient Zero but some were disappointed with the song's cover art.
Swift’s latest image, showing her leaning against a concrete wall in a sleeveless high-neck dress, drew attention after users spotted an apparent Photoshop fail.
The edited-looking image seemingly erased the natural contour between her underarm and side, prompting fans to point out the apparent mishap.
“The Photoshop on Taylor Swift's ‘Patient Zero’ cover is horrendous... girl, you're a billionaire, please get a professional photographer,” one person scoffed on X.
“I'm so sorry but why does the side of her look so poorly edited? It looks way over-airbrushed and almost AI,” another said.
“'No shade, but they edited her armpit to HELL,” one X user pointed out before declaring, “I love Taylor, by the way.”
The social media user also bashed, “The FaceApp blur, the badly cropped picture, the tilted horizon... she just pissed me off so bad.”
One fan noted, “I can edit you better for free on Canvas,” after endearingly calling Swift “mom” and lamenting, “They Photoshopped your shoulder out of existence.”

Notably, the backlash came after the Life Of A Showgirl singer finally confirmed Tuesday that she’s gearing up to release new music.
Taking to her official Instagram handle, Swift announced her new single, titled Patient Zero, which is set to release this Friday, September 25, 2026.
“I’ve been impatiently waiting to tell you that my brand new single “Patient Zero” will be out on September 25 (!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it’s available to pre-order now on my website for 24 hours,” she captioned.
Swift’s website is offering three collector’s edition CDs with double-sided covers for a limited 24-hour period.
Her new single will arrive just two days before the pop star is set to make history with the inaugural MTV VMA honor on September 27, 2026.
