Saudi Arabia reportedly executed five Pakistanis for murder during armed robbery on Wednesday.

As reported by Daily Pakistan, Saudi Arabia has carried out the execution of five Pakistani nationals convicted of murder during an armed robbery.

The execution took place by the authorities in accordance with Sharia law, despite appeals from human rights organizations and concerns about the process.

According to Saudi officials, the five people were found guilty of committing a heinous crime during an armed robbery that resulted in the loss of innocent lives.

The incident occurred in the kingdom's eastern province, where the criminals were detained and later tried under Saudi law.

It is pertinent to note, Pakistan's government has expressed its regret over the executions and has demanded a review of the cases to ensure that justice was served.

The Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh had been actively engaged in providing legal assistance to the convicted individuals throughout the legal proceedings.

Moreover, human rights groups have criticized Saudi Arabia's judicial system, mentioning instances of alleged unfair trials and executions, arguing that executions should not done without a transperant and fair representation for the accused.
