Cristiano Ronaldo completed his suspension and returned to action in the win over Al-Khaleej, sharing a motivational message.
As per Goal, Portuguese attacker faced a two-match suspension following a red card in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final against Al-Hilal on April 9 for elbowing defender Ali Al-Bulaihi.
As a result, Ronaldo missed Al Nassr's fixture against Al-Fayha on April 19, 2024.
However, Al-Nassr won an appeal against his suspension, reducing it to just one game.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner return to action came sooner than expected, allowing him to participate in Al-Nassr's recent fixture against Al-Khaleej.
Al-Nassr football player Aymeric Laporte's goal in the 67th minute secured the victory for Al-Nassr against Al-Khaleej.
After the win, Ronaldo took to his Instagram account and shared a picture with his teammates following the caption with fire emoji, "Happy with the win, let’s keep it going!"
Al Nassr are currently second in the Saudi Pro League behind arch-rivals Al-Hilal, who have 11 more points.
However, Al-Nassr is set to face Al-Khaleej once again in the semi-finals of the King Cup of Champions on Wednesday, May 1.
