Zayn Malik expressed regret for not fully enjoying his time in One Direction!
In a candid chat with Pink Villa, the Dusk Till Dawn crooner looked back on his past when he was a bandmate for One Direction.
“At that time in my life I took things too seriously. Wish I had relished the moment more,” Zayn revealed.
“My younger self did not understand the value of pursuing happiness, Back then I thought it was cool to be moody constantly as having the teenage angst and a chip on my shoulder,” he expressed.
He added, “ I am in a much happier place now and feel like I have embraced my own perspective seeing things in a positive light.”
Zayn’s abrupt departure from the British boy band One Direction in 2015 left the world in shatters.
The trio, which included the likes of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson also declared a break less than a year later.
On the work front, Zayn Malik is embarking on a world tour where he will deliver some of his best hits.
