Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, is facing allegations of ketamine use and an affair with Nicole Shanahan, the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin.

According to a report by The New York Times, Musk and Shanahan took ketamine together at a party hosted by Shanahan in New York in 2021.

Meanwhile, the information was reportedly confirmed by eight sources and documents.

Later in 2021, Musk and Shanahan allegedly took ketamine together again at a private party in Miami hosted by Musk's brother.

As per a 2022 WSJ report, both Mr Musk and Ms Shanahan have denied the affair.

While, Shanahan stated to People magazine that the rumours were damaging to her career and reputation, calling the situation "utterly debilitating and humiliating."

Moreover, Ms. Shanahan and Mr. Brin separated shortly after the party, with Brin filing for divorce in 2022, citing "irreconcilable differences," according to court documents.

Their divorce process, which lasted nearly 18 months, was finalized last year.

Meanwhile, Shanahan reportedly threatened self-harm during the divorce proceedings.

Shanahan is currently considered a potential running mate for independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
