White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced birth of her daughter in a heartfelt post, revealing her name and birthdate.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, May 7, the 28-year-old Leavitt announced that she welcomed her second baby with 60-year-old husband Nicholas Riccio on May 1.

In a heartwarming post she not only revealed her baby girls face and name but also shared his son’s reaction on becoming big brother.

She wrote, “On May 1st, Viviana aka “Vivi” joined our family, and our hearts instantly exploded with love. She is perfect and healthy, and her big brother is joyfully adjusting to life with his new baby sister. We are enjoying every moment in our blissful newborn bubble.”

“Thank you to everyone who reached out with prayers during my pregnancy - I truly felt them throughout the entire experience. God is Good,” the White House press secretary added.

Though her final day at the White House before maternity leave was supposed to be Friday, April 24, Leavitt attended the White House Correspondents' Dinner over the weekend and found herself back on duty when an active shooter situation disrupted the event, People reported.

She held a last-minute press briefing on Monday, April 27, to denounce political violence and slam late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel before resuming leave in preparation for her due date.

Leavitt, who also has a son Niko, 21 months, first announced the news of her pregnancy back in December on Instagram.

Leavitt and Riccio, a real estate developer, got engaged over the Christmas holiday in 2023 and welcomed their son, Nicholas Robert Riccio, nicknamed “Niko,” on July 10, 2024.
