United States President Joe Biden has announced his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race on Sunday, July 21.

Biden shared his decision via a letter posted on social media, endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate.

In a surprising twist, past donations from former President Donald Trump to Kamala Harris' campaigns have gained attention on social media.

Records show that Trump donated $5,000 on September 26, 2011, and $1,000 on February 20, 2013, when Harris was running for California attorney general.

Additionally, Ivanka Trump contributed $2,000 to Harris' campaign in 2014. Harris' representative clarified that these donations were unsolicited and noted that she donated the funds to a nonprofit supporting civil and human rights for Central Americans during Trump’s presidential campaign in 2020.

According to Newsweek, Trump frequently donated to Democrats during that period.

He gave $1,000 to Joe Biden’s campaign in 2001, $5,000 to the New York State Democratic Party in 2002, $10,000 to Andrew Cuomo’s attorney general campaign in 2006, and $15,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2010, Trump supported Kristen Gillibrand’s Senate campaign.

Trump also made multiple donations to Hillary Clinton's campaigns, including $2,100 and $200 in 2006 and $600 in 2007.

Furthermore, he donated at least $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation, as reported by OpenSecrets.
