President Donald Trump has publicly waded into the controversy surrounding comedian Druski, urging Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk to take legal action.
The firestorm began after Druski released a satirical video titled “How Conservative Women in America Act,” which has amassed over 184 million views.
In the skit, Druski wears prosthetics and a blonde wig to parody a conservative figure, a performance many believe specifically targets Erika Kirk, the widow of the late Charlie Kirk.
During an Easter event at the White House on Wednesday, the 79-year-old President noticed Erika Kirk in the audience. Moving away from his script, Trump told her:
“They’re so jealous of Erika,” before giving his blunt legal advice. “I said you ought to sue, I can say, you’re not allowed to say this, you have to be nicer. Sue their a** off,” Trump declared as the room erupted in laughter.
While the parody features the character stating, “We have to protect all men in America, especially the white men in America,” Druski team has denied receiving any legal notice.
A representative stated that “any claim that a cease and desist was issued to Druski is absolutely false,” despite the President’s vocal encouragement for a lawsuit.
