Mark Zuckerberg has released early versions of a new Llama 3 model, which has been backed by his technological company, Meta.
Like Open AIâs ChatGPT, Googleâs Gemini, and Microsoftâs Bing, it has been programmed in a conversational style, where the user has to write a prompt for getting a response.
Makers intend to equip users with the most up-to-date digital assistant that comes free of cost.
On Thursday, April 18, Mark posted a video on his Instagram profile, mentioning, âOur goal is to build the worldâs leading AI.â
His large language model has a powerful ability to animate photos â a feature that was introduced some years back and is since readily offered on the internet by Pika Labs, Animated Drawings, Genmo, and other such resources.
The businessman also claimed in his clip that the software can âgenerate high quality images so fast that it creates and updates them in real-time as youâre typing.â
These are things that techies around the globe arenât hearing for the first time, but the catch here is that this assistant will not only be available on a standalone website.
Mark has planned to integrate it across Metaâs already established social media platforms, which are Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger.
In simpler terms, this means that instead of just using pre-made stickers and emojis while texting on WhatsApp, people can now animate a photo right out of their imagination and instantly send it to the person theyâre chatting with.Â
