Parineeti Chopra reflected upon on her connection with her Amar Singh Chamkila co-star Diljit Dosanjh.
In a recent interview with Raj Shamani, Parineeti expressed admiration for her friend Diljit, highlighting their connection through a mutual interest in spirituality.
She said, “I bonded with Diljit Dosanjh on grounds of spirituality. He is very quiet off camera and tends to think a lot, that is a similar trait we share.”
Continuing her praise for Diljit , Parineeti commented on the singer’s charm in winning people hearts and referred to his presence as a ‘vibe’.
"One day we were sitting and talking about how he has now figured out who he is and what the audience wants. His music, film, wardrobe choices and everything in his life are a reflection of that understanding," the Hasee Toh Phasee actress said.
Moreover, Parineeti is basking in the success of her newly released film Amar Singh Chamkila.
In the same interview, the Golmaal Again actress also discussed the success of her film.
She said, “I have chased projects for the wrong reason, I have listened to the wrong advice, signed the wrong films against what the audience wanted of me."
Parineeti further added,"I have done a lot of films that didn’t suit me because I was listening to a lot of noise. I have gone through a lot of ups and downs and made a lot of mistakes, but the intentions have been very simple and pure.”
Meanwhile, Amar Singh Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali, is currently streaming on Netflix.
