Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have begun shooting for Karan Johar’s upcoming romantic-drama Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari in Mumbai on May 4,2024.
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, under the direction of Shashank Khaitan, is set to release in cinemas on April 18,2025.
Varun and Janhvi took to Instagram to announce the exciting news with fans.
The duo posted a video to share glimpses of fun interaction among the cast on the set of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
Janhvi and Varun captioned the post, "Love is about to take center stage! Sunny Sanskari & Tulsi Kumari’s journey with their family begins today. Send love & blessings! #SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari in cinemas, 18th April 2025!"
Khaitan also posted a photo from the first day of shooting on Instagram story with a caption, "Day1-Sincere Gratitude."
Varun and Janhvi are working together for the second time in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, after Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal.
Moreover, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is third collaboration between Varun and Shashank after Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
Meanwhile Janhvi's second collaboration with the director after her debut in Dhadak.
