Nathalie Emmanuel has opened up about the “crazy” experience of attending the Cannes Film Festival with Megalopolis cast on Tuesday.
The Game of Thrones alum, who starred as Julia Cicero in the most-awaited movie, got candid about the “overwhelming” experience.
During a conversation with Variety, she shared, “This whole experience has been like nothing I’ve ever had before,” adding, “That moment was so much bigger and so much grander.”
The Fast and Furious star added, “I just had no concept of how crazy it would be, how exciting it would be, how many people there would be. It was quite overwhelming, but really exciting and felt like a real celebration.”
Nathalie’s Megalopolis received a long standing ovation at the Cannes.
“I really felt the warmth and the embrace of the movie, and I think just standing next to my fellow cast and we were just kind all in it together,” she continued, “I was really happy for Francis. Happy for the team and the cast and the entire crew of people who worked on the film because it was such a valiant, triumphant feat.”
Megalopolis premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 16, 2024. The official release date of the movie is yet to be disclosed.
