Russia breaks silence on the new claims about the COVID machines and phone calls between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.

According to Sky News, US author and famed Watergate scandal reporter, Bon Woodward, in his new book ‘War’ claimed that former US President Trump, back in 2020, sent a COVID-19 test machine to Russian President Putin for his personal use.

He also proclaimed that the Republican candidate for the presidency was in contact with Putin even after leaving the president's office, and they had talked as many as seven times on private phone calls.

Meanwhile, the Kremlin on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, denied all the accusations of the American journalist about private phone calls between Trump and Putin.

A Russian media outlet, RBC Daily, asked the Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov whether Trump and Putin spoke on the phone, to which he replied, “No, that is not true.”

Furthermore, as per NBC, the Kremlin told Bloomberg that the former president did send the testing devices and “we also sent equipment at the beginning of the pandemic.”

However, Trump’s campaign called the content of the book “made up,” while the former president said, “He (Woodward) is a storyteller. A bad one. And he’s lost his marbles.”

The book is all set to be published on October 15, 2024, almost 20 days before the US Presidential Elections, but it has already raised questions about Trump’s stance on the Russia-Ukraine war if elected.
