In a recent interview, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan opened up about his upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha and what it has been like working during the global pandemic with co-star Kareena Kapoor.
Aamir Khan, who is known for his versatile acting skills, took on the challenge to remake a Bollywood version of the 1994 Hollywood cult Forrest Gump, as according to him it is “a wonderful story about this character. It is a life-affirming story. It is a feel-good film. It is a film for the whole family.”
While talking about working with multiple obstacles that have been coming in the way of making this film, Tare Zameen Par actor relayed the insides in a hilarious way. He said:
“While the rest of the world was dealing with Corona, we were dealing with Corona and Kareena who was the heroine of the film, she got pregnant, another complication so we are like one more gust of wind has pushed us in another direction.”
He shared a moment with his director Advait Chandan and explained the metaphorical joke about the gust of wind.
“He and I often joke that when we took on this film, our lives have become like a feather — different winds are pushing us in different directions, and we are just kind of flowing with it and we are just going to figure out where we land up by the end of the film."
Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor are sharing the screen for the third time. The movie is expected to be released by this year’s Christmas— that is if all goes well.
