On Tuesday, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s account was permanently suspended by Twitter after violation of policies.
As per Indian publication, the account got suspended after the Queen star shared her thoughts about alleged violence that happened in West Bengal, India after results of assembly election were announced.
Ranaut said West Bengal should have presidential rule after CM Mamata Banerjee-led TMC defeated BJP.
The tweet which became the reason for suspension of account was the one in which Ranaut asked PM Modi to “tame” Mamata Banerjee with his “Virat Roop”.
After the tweet, the Twitter users criticized the actor and demanded action against her. On the other hand, Ranaut took to Instagram after account suspension and urged media to not ignore the genocide in West Bengal.
The social media users couldn’t help but make memes about Ranaut’s account suspension.
