Actor Anupam Kher took to his social media to set the records about his wife Kirron Kher’s health straight once and for all.
In April, Anupam had confirmed the news of his actor/politician wife getting diagnosed with blood cancer. Post announcement, rumours have surfaced on the internet assuming that Kirron is dead.
However, One Day: Justice Delivered actor requested everyone to “not spread such negative news” and assured that his wife is doing “absolutely fine”. He penned down a note to clear everyone’s confusion and wrote:
“There is a rumour going around about Kirron's health,” he began. “It's all false. She is doing absolutely fine. In fact, she got her second vaccination done for Covid this afternoon. I will request people not to spread such negative news. Thanks! Stay safe."
The pair got their second dose of vaccine against Covid-19 from Nanavati Hospital on Friday. This was Kirron Jee’s first public appearance after the diagnosis. Anupam shared pictures from their hospital trip and captioned the post:
"We got our 2nd vaccination done. Thank you #SisterAnnie #DrAfsa and @nanavatihospital for making it possible. Mom was the bravest. Chanting #OmNamahShivay helped me and hopefully @kirronkhermp bhabhi @kherreema and brother @rajukherofficial also!! #MaskUp #StaySafe #GetVaccinated."
The senior actor had previously opened up about Kirron’s diagnosis but assured the fans that she’s getting the best possible health care. He also expressed his gratitude for the thousands of well-wishes he received for his life partner’s health.
