Luka Doncic was spotted enjoying his summer as he returned to his home ground after signing a contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Following the major milestone, the point guard expressed his pride in being part of the Lakers' squad to the press and shared that he wants to play for the LeBron James team for a long time.

During the NBA offseason, Luka has returned to Slovenia, where he was seen assisting his national team in their preparations for EuroBasket, completely embracing calm vibes with his teammates.

Luka was caught on camera smiling and bonding with the team, a scene which was usually missing from the Lakers' court amid the tension of winning the championship.

The 27-year-old, who helped Slovenia secure a EuroBasket win in 2017, is lending his expertise from the sideline this time.

His three-year, $165 million maximum contract extension through 2028 with the Lakers would keep Luka with Los Angeles under a player option for the final season.

Moreover, he will then be eligible for a massive five-year extension that could allow him to recoup the max money he lost by getting traded by Dallas.

Although his debut season in Los Angeles ended with a first-round playoff loss to Minnesota, the high-scoring guard has committed the rest of his 20s to the Lakers.
