Prince Harry is reportedly determined to bring Meghan Markle and their children back to the UK after disruption in plan.
As reported by The Sun, the source claimed he plans to explore "every option" after a reported security request was rejected despite what has been described as an olive branch from King Charles III.
The Duke of Sussex is said to be planning a week-long trip to Britain with Meghan and their children, with hopes of meeting the King and visiting Princess Diana's final resting place.
Harry is still expected to travel to the UK, but the rest of his family's visit is now uncertain following the decision by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC).
A spokesperson for the estranged royal said Harry is exploring "every available option" to ensure the visit can go ahead safely.
In a statement, the spokesman said: “Prince Harry’s programme in the United Kingdom includes both public and private engagements across the country.”
It went on to share, “Safe accommodation is only one element of an effective protective security plan because risk follows the person, not the place.”
The statement mentioned, “The issue has never been accommodation. The issue is whether appropriate and proportionate protective security is being provided throughout the entirety of the visit.”
“The independent Risk Management Board that RAVEC itself decided was necessary last November has still not taken place,” it continued.
“It is therefore difficult to understand how the proportionality of the current arrangements can credibly be maintained without that independent assessment,” the statement further said.
It noted, “The Duke continues to explore every available option to enable the visit to proceed safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK.”
Prince Harry’s UK plan disruption
Previously, it was reported that a Risk Management Board was convened to review Harry's security after he lost his High Court bid to restore round-the-clock protection.
Harry - who has been all set for his highly anticipated UK return with wife Meghan Markle, and kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in July, has been denied tax-payers security by the state.
According to The Guardian, a source close to the couple claimed "their plans to see family, friends and visit various charitable causes close to the duke’s heart have been pulled out from under their feet at the 11th hour."
The source shared that Harry was "distraught" by the latest development and would not risk his children being followed by photographers as soon as they landed.
