Karan Johar is celebrating Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani's third anniversary.
In 2023, the popular Indian filmmaker has directed his signature style romance comedy film, which now has completed three years in the entertainment industry.
Through this movie, Johar has made his directorial comeback nearly after seven years, as he last launched Ae Dil Hai Mushkil featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the leading roles.
A heartfelt celebration
Now, celebrating his movie, the father of two released a never-before-seen behind the scenes from the film's set.
He also dropped unseen images with the late Indian actor, Dharmendra, who passed away in December last year, sending fans into meltdown.
The Indian filmmaker has turned to his Instagram account on Tuesday, July 28, to celebrate the new milestone of his career.
One of the photos captures an adorable moment of Ranveer hugging Johar while Alia records it on her phone.
"Photo Dump of one of the most joyous experiences I have had on set! #3yearsofRRKPK …. I can't wait to be back on set … for my own heart," Johar captioned his post.
The Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham director also revealed that he last appeared on film's set three years ago, since then he has not launched any project.
Karan Johar's upcoming directorial plans
Well, Karan Johar has no plans to make another striking return to Bollywood with his direction, however he do have plans to return as host for The Traitors.
Taking to his Instagram account, the 54-year-old Indian filmmaker announced the thrilling update with his followers, saying, "Get ready to rise and shine, once again #TheTraitorsOnPrime, New Season with New Episode Every Thursday, Aug 13 on @primevideoin."
