Prince William is said to have bluntly declined King Charles' yet another request.
The Prince of Wales was reportedly invited by his father to the same Highgrove House meeting in London, where the monarch and his wife, Queen Camilla welcomed Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet last month.
However, the exact behind the palace walls encounter between the heir to the throne and his cancer-stricken father has come to light, with Royal sources confirming that William outright refused to be a part of that reunion, despite being at only 20 miles distance from the crown estate on the same day.
"I was told the recent meeting at Highgrove, Charles desperately wanted William to come to that, and William said no. William said no. He did not go," claimed Rob Shuter during his appearance on Maureen Callahan's The Nerve podcast.
He went on to share, "The king, I'm told, from people close to William, said, 'Come. It will be a wonderful image. The three of us together all making peace,'"
"And William said, 'No, it will be a lie.' And he did not go," claimed the Royal insider.
