Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie with daughter Suhana Khan has reportedly been shelved before getting to the advanced stages.
A source from Time Now News revealed, “I don’t think that project is happening, not after The Archies. Suhana needs to find a project as far removed from her father as possible.”
“Earlier, SRK was tempted to get on camera with his daughter ASAP. Now, after The Archies, this historic togetherness is gone on the back burner," the insider added.
Even before The Archies released in November 2023, news about the duo’s anticipated film had started making rounds on the web.
Settling for The King as its title, Sujoy Ghosh was appointed as the director whereas Siddharth Anand was rumored to be signed as a co-producer.
Insiders described it as an action thriller story, contrasting the script from the typical cheesy parent-child plots that Bollywood is otherwise used to making.
The flick was supposed to be Suhana’s big screen debut and SRK’s next project.
But, now, as both the star’s slates remain empty, fans are waiting for them to announce their future plans soon
