Vicky Kaushal was fond of sleep talking as a child.
The actor appeared on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, where brother Sunny Kaushal remembered this habit with great delight.
He said, “As a child, Vicky would talk in his sleep. People usually blabber in their sleep… he used to give an entire performance! We used to share a room. I would get confused if he is awake or asleep.”
“One night, I was going to sleep and he had slept 45 minutes before me, so he was in deep sleep. He suddenly threw his blanket away and said, ‘Check it.’ I said, ‘What?’ He said, ‘I am done with my paper, check it,” the younger sibling laughed.
Going on, Sunny went on to add that he was already aware of his elder brother’s disorder by then, mentioning that the Sardar Udham star used to “sleep with eyes open” and would have to be engaged in a conversation to avoid shock.
Vicky then wrapped up this part of his childhood by sharing another memory.
“This happened with my mom as well. I was sleeping and I got up saying, ‘He snatched your purse!’ Mom didn’t know about my condition, she went like, ‘Who?’ ” he recalled.
