Elon Musk's social media platform X (formerly Twitter) recently launched a new feature 'Stories' which will summarise news events within the app using Grok.

The Grok chatbot is developed by xAI, another company owned by Musk.

The company said, "Now available: Stories on X, powered by Grok AI. See what the world is talking about with Stories on X, curated by @grok. Now available for Premium subscribers in the Explore tab! Web & iOS only for now -- let us know your feedback."

Here's all you need to know about the new feature:

What is X's new feature Stories?

X's new feature Stories generates summaries from user tweets rather than traditional news articles. It aims to keep users informed and engaged by providing dynamic synopses integrated with insights from platform discussions.

Who can access the Stories feature?

The access to Stories is limited to X's premium subscribers.

Is Grok error free?

However, the platform acknowledges that its AI tool, named Grok, isn't flawless and may occasionally produce errors.

After each summary, users will see a warning, "Grok can make mistakes, verify its outputs."

This prompt advises them to double-check the information provided.

In addition to this, X has introduced a number of new features in the last few months, including Community Notes in India.

This function empowers users to fact-check information circulating on the platform before accepting it as accurate.
