Glen Powell, who starred as Lt. Jake Hangman Seresin in Top Gun: Maverick, recalled a scary prank Tom Cruise pulled on him.
During a dialogue with British GQ Hype, Glen shared that Tom once pretended to lose control of a helicopter while piloting it.
The prank took place when the duo was flying back to London after filming reshoots of the blockbuster movie.
Glen recalled, "Tom goes, 'Oh no, oh no,’ and he starts dropping the helicopter over London. I was like, ‘Am I about to be the unnamed guy that dies with Tom in a smoking hole in the middle of London?' "
The Hit Man star added, “He has a helicopter and he’s flying actual jets. If I have to pop over to New York or Texas, in this SR-22, it’ll take me forever."
He previously got candid about how Tom persuaded him to sign for Top Gun.
Glen told People, "[Tom and I] sat down for a couple hours and talked about his life and his career and how he chooses movies, and how he develops roles and those sort of things.”
The blockbuster film earned $1.496 billion worldwide.
