Ben Affleck was notably absent from Jennifer Lopez's lavish Bridgerton-themed birthday party amid their divorce rumours.
According to PEOPLE several sources shared that Gone Girl was not present for his wife's Bridgerton-themed party on Saturday, July 20, which was held in the Hamptons.
Guadalupe Rodríguez, Lopez's mother, was among the attendees who were photographed arriving at the event wearing royal-style clothing.
She was wearing a blue gown with white lace details.
To note, Lopez and Affleck celebrated their second wedding anniversary independently earlier this week.
On the day of the event, Lopez rode a bike in the Hamptons, and Affleck was seen entering his Los Angeles office.
Previously, the source shared with PEOPLE, that Bennifer's marriage is "not in the best place at the moment."
According to another insider, there have been "deeper issues" between the two and that Lopez's celebrity status has nothing to do with the couple's marital troubles.
"The idea that Ben thinks Jennifer is too famous and that he didn’t know what he was getting into with the attention on their marriage isn’t true," the source said.
