King Charles sent a clear message to his opponent as new report unfolds his one-year tenure as a Monarch.

As per the annual financial report, King Charles III conducted a whopping 464 engagements in his first year since taking over the reign in September, and a big number of those were held before his cancer diagnosis in February 2024.

The annual report unfolds the important details of monarch’s epic workload, expenses of his royal trips and more from April 2023 till March 2024.

In the review report, Sir Michael Stevens, the financial secretary to the King noted, “As His Majesty has said ‘Such kind thoughts have been the greatest comfort and encouragement’.”

Michael continued, “There were also moments of personal challenge for the family.”

“This inevitably impacted on the number and nature of engagements that had been planned — though may I say how encouraging it is to see the King back performing so many public duties and — more recently — the Princess similarly well enough to join The King’s Birthday Parade and the men’s Wimbledon final,” he added.

The Keeper of the Privy Purse revealed, “Behind the scenes, the work of the Royal Household continued apace, even throughout the latter course of the financial year, with His Majesty still performing his full State duties, Her Majesty taking on a greater share of public engagements, and their support teams adapting swiftly to the changing circumstances.”

Much to peoples’ amusement the report also revealed that King Charles and his cancer-stricken daughter-in-law Kate Middleton received 27,000 get-well cards and letters after their cancer scares were announced.
