Natalie Portman is nothing but happy to meet Malala Yousufzai and Khalida Popal!

Turning to her official Instagram account on Monday, July 29, the May December star shared a slideshow of photos of herself with the Nobel Peace Prize winner, Malala Yousufzai, and the founder of Afghanistan’s Girl Power Group.

Expressing her happiness meeting them she wrote in the caption, “Loved hearing @malala and @khalida_popal_girlpower, the former captain of the Afghan women’s soccer team, speak about the Afghan women’s quest to be allowed to compete in the Olympics and the World Cup despite the Taliban’s rule not allowing women to play. @refugeeolympicteam @fifa #letusplay Afghanwnt.com @weareangelcity #AngelCityEquitySummit #parisolympics2024."


Just a day before, Malala shared the photo of Pakistani Olympics participants while expressing her pride over them.

“So proud of Team Pakistan. @olympics,” read the caption.

Meanwhile, Khalida Popal, who is an Afghan football player who served as the former captain of the Afghan women’s national football team.

On the work front, Natalie Portman is busy filming her upcoming comedy film, The Twits, which is slated to run in cinemas in 2025.

The actress is also working on her forthcoming movie, Fountain of Youth, which has yet to announce its release date.
