Donald Trump seemed to be no more interested in debating with the presumptive Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris.

According to ABC News, Trump, in an interview aired on Monday, July 29, with Fox News Channel, gave a vague answer about debating with the US vice president.

The host, Laura Ingraham, repeatedly asked Trump whether he would debate with Harris or not, to which he replied, “I want to do a debate. But I can also say this. Everybody knows who I am. And now people know who she is. The answer is yes; I'll probably end up debating."

He added after talking about the debate for a minute, “The answer is yes, but I can also make a case for not doing it."

Earlier, Trump, in a phone call with reporters, agreed about debating with Harris, saying, “Oh yes, absolutely. I'd want to,” adding that there was an obligation to debate.

To note, the former Republican president had been eager to debate with President Joe Biden when he was nominated for the presidential election.

It is not the first time when Trump seems to miss debate, he has done it before. The 78-year-old skipped all the 2024 Republican presidential primary debates.
