Prince Harry and Prince William hit with major family loss as their uncle died at the age of 82.
The brother-in-law of William and Harry’s mother and late Princess Diana, Lord Robert Fellows has reportedly passed away this week.
Lord Robert was husband of Princess Diana’s elder sister Lady Jane Spencer, who also worked for the late Queen Elizabeth II as a private secretary.
Lord was with Queen during some of the most dramatic times in the 1990s, including the divorces of her children, and Princess Diana's death.
His role in the family became more significant after Lady Diana’s death as he expressed his grievances at that time noting, “I was deeply fond of her. She was a very good person. She found it difficult in life to find happiness, and I'm sad for people who have that situation.”
Lord Robert and Jane had been married for over 40 years and share three children, Laura, Alexander and Eleanor.
Meanwhille, Lord Robert and Jane's eldest daughter, Laura, is godmother to Princess Charlotte.
