Lisa Kudrow has reflected on her friendship with Matt LeBlanc and how he helped her in Friends.

Lisa, who recently celebrated her 61th birthday, appeared on Sirius XM's Where Everybody Knows Your Name on July 31.

She recalled her shoot days on the sitcom set during her appearance and how her former costar helped her.

Lisa shared that she used to think that she’s “lazy” and not doing her work right during the first two seasons. Then Matt told her, “No, you know who the character is now. You don’t need to do the work you did. You got it,” and I went, 'What? Oh.'"

"That was enough," she continued, "It’s sort of like someone shook me ‘cause I was getting hysterical. I wasn’t literally getting hysterical, but you know like if you’re getting hysterical, someone slaps you back. You’re like, 'Oh, thanks. That’s what I needed.'"

The 61-year old actress admitted that her co-star helped her feel more “related.”

She even looked back at “outrageous” things her character said during the show.

“It just took a lot of work to figure out, “All right, how is it possible that I think this is true or a good idea or a reasonable thing to say?,” Lisa said.
