Simone Biles makes history yet again as she became the oldest female gymnast to win an all-around Olympic gold medal.

The American most decorated gymnast has proved that age is just a number for her.

The 27-year-old won her Paris Games’ second gold in the Olympics all around. It is her second all-around gold and sixth Olympic gold overall, reported Sky News.

Her total score was 59.131, just a point ahead of Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade’s 57.932. This was one of the closest calls Biles has faced at any major international event.

Moreover, after winning all-around gold at the age of 27, Biles became the oldest woman to claim the biggest title in her sport since 1952.

Biles Reacted to Latest Win in Paris Olympics

Biles, after securing a new milestone, said, “It is crazy that I am in the conversation of 'Greatest of all athletes' because I just still think, 'I'm Simone Biles from Spring, Texas, who loves to flip.’”

She further added, “I don't want to compete with Rebeca anymore. I'm tired. Like, she's way too close. I've never had an athlete that close. I was like, 'I think I have to bring up the big guns this time."

Biles after winning all-around gold after almost eight years expressed, “It feels amazing. I was a little bit naive in the process. So I appreciate my craft a little bit more."
