Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt take strict measures to avoid confrontation amid divorce rift

The couple filed for divorce in 2016

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are taking strategic steps to avoid a potential confrontation in Venice, as their lengthy divorce proceedings continue.

As per reports, her ex-husband, the Troy star will also be present for his upcoming hitman-caper film, Wolf, starring George Clooney.

According to sources, the schedules have been set up so that the estranged couple won't be at the film festival at the same time.

They won't be seeing each other in person, but they will attend the event and stay at the same hotel, the Cipriani.

Since their breakup, the separated couple has never been together at a Hollywood event, and Jolie has mostly avoided red-carpet affairs in Los Angeles despite living there with their six kids.

This recent update came after the revelation that Brad is 'distraught' and angry over not being able to talk to his estranged son Pax, who is hospitalised following a bike accident in Los Angeles.

According to a previous report, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016 after "their disagreements took over" and the marriage "turned nasty and it was not a good situation for anyone."
