Big Sean, who has been dating Jhené Aiko for eight years, has revealed the reason why they haven't tied the knot yet.
During the in-depth interview on the iHeartRadio podcast Out of Context with Charlamagne Tha God on August 2, Sean was asked if they had done “one of those secret industry weddings.”
The rapper responded with a laugh and said, "No, no, there has not been a secret industry marriage."
“It's a little personal, you know what I mean? But just like to be real with you, just like any people who have dealt with love, we've had our ups and downs, you know what I'm saying? And I think it's still finding the right navigation through it all,” he added.
The Mercy singer went on to share, “To me, marriage symbolizes like the best relationship.”
Sean expressed that he's hesitant due to the high divorce rates.
“I would like to, and I don't like putting our personal business out there like that either, but there's a lot of work that needs to be done,” he noted.
Big Sean and Jhené Aiko's relationship spans over a decade, having first met in 2012.
The couple has welcomed their first child together, Noah Hasani, in November 2022.
