Céline Dion humbly teared up when Kelly Clarkson started hitting her iconic tribute notes, proving that the only acceptable reaction to such powerful singing is an emotional waterfall!
It was on a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show that the American vocalist crooned a cover of My Heart Will Go On, leaving the audience in an impressed state of mind.
On Tuesday, October 8, Céline Dion uploaded a video on her X profile, showering high praises for her fellow musician’s stupendous live performance.
She expressed, “I got to watch and listen to your reaction to my performance on the Eiffel Tower. It was so sweet to hear you, your voice. Your voice was breaking and it touched me so tremendously.”
“You were crying and then you made me start crying. What’s up with all this friggin crying?! And now I just saw you sing My Heart Will Go On, and I’m crying again,” the singer exclaimed.
Winding the message up, Céline Dion called Kelly Clarkson “absolutely incredible” and “incredible,” then aired her desire to see her in person soon enough.
“I loved it so much. And I hope I’m not gonna start crying. I love you so much,” she squeezed out her feelings.
Of course, viewers of Kelly Clarkson’s power ballad are just as hopeful that they meet in the near future and possibly chant some tunes together.
