Prince William’s monarchy will be titled toward giving Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie a grand promotion while Princess Anne would be snubbed big time.
Royal commentator Tom Skyes told Daily Beast that the Prince of Wales is making plans to “radically alter and secure” his kingdom’s near future.
This is because King Charles’ cancer diagnosis and looming death has “forced” him to consider possible changes in the reign earlier than expected.
According to the royal expert, Prince William has always praised Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward for their commitment to duties.
They are “neither great friends nor enemies of King Charles” and have “successfully won the trust and affection of Prince William and Kate Middleton” by stepping up for more work this year.
It is for this reason that Tom Skyes said that the couple will be “rewarded with a promotion when the Prince of Wales’ reign begins.”
The royal journalist went on to add that Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie’s children Lady Louise Windsor and Earl of Wessex James will be given high-profile engagements as well, even though they have largely kept out of the spotlight.
As per his words, the future of Princess Anne doesn’t look that bright despite her emerging as the royal who completes the most number of royal engagements annual, even beating King Charles.
Tom Skyes’ claims made it seem that Prince William is perhaps “intimidated” by Princess Anne, who has a great deal of popularity and rapport along with daughter Zara Tindall.
Just recently, Prince William and King Charles were both beaten in duty and fame polls by Princess Royal, making her pose as a threat for their respective rules.
