Sean 'Diddy' Combs' legal team has made a huge accusation against federal government.

His lawyer Alexander A.E. Shapiro claimed that federal agents are behind leaking Cassie assault video.

On May 17, CNN released a surveillance footage from March 5, 2016, which showed the music mogul abusing his ex-girlfriend at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.

The court documents obtained by Daily Mail stated that Combs’ attorney has accused Department of Homeland Security officials of releasing the 2016 hotel surveillance footage.

As per the document, “First, there has been a steady stream of false and prejudicial statements made by DHS agents to various press outlets over the last seven months.”

“Second, the agents engaged in a particularly brutal and public search of Mr. Combs’ homes, during which they handcuffed Mr. Combs’ innocent sons and then marched them before a news helicopter and the press,” the statement further read.

Shapiro has requested the court to investigate how the surveillance video was released to the news outlet.

The court document further read, “This was an apparent effort to convey that they had overwhelming evidence against Mr. Combs, justifying the public and brutal treatment of even his children, who were handcuffed and manhandled by federal agents armed with assault rifles.”

Combs' next court will take place on October 10, 2024.
