Prince Andrew has finally broken his silence over new controversy revealing his potential link to an alleged Chinese spy, who has been banned in the UK.

Shortly after a probe into the Duke of York's finances began from MI5 after shocking details disclosed his ties with the Chinese national, Andrew's rep shared an official statement to set the record straight on the matter.

As per the official statement released from Andrew's office on Friday, he “ceased all contact” with the Chinese businessman, whom Andrew invited to his birthday party in 2021.

The statement read, “The Duke of York followed advice from HMG and ceased all contact with the individual after concerns were raised."

It continued, “The duke met the individual through official channels, with nothing of a sensitive nature ever discussed."

“He is unable to comment further on matters relating to national security,” the statement concluded.

For those unaware, the alleged spy, known only as H6, who is accused of working for the United Front Work Department (UFWD), is an ex junior civil servant in China.

To note, UFWD, works to gather intelligence, recruit agents and buy influence abroad.
