
On the first death anniversary of Pakistani model Zara Abid, her friends and fellow showbiz colleagues including, Ayesha Omar, Neelam Muneer, Sadaf Kanwal, Nomi Ansari, Fouzia Aman, Tabesh Khoja, Zara Noor Abbas and Hira Mani remembered her and paid emotional tributes.
Zara was one of the passengers on the ill-fated Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK 8303 which crashed in Karachi on May 22, 2020, killing at least 97 people.
Taking to Instagram, actress Neelam Muneer remembered her friend and prayed that she attains Jannat-ul-Firdous.
“Remembering Zara,” Ayesha Omar wrote on her Instagram Story, along with a picture of the model.

Fellow model, Fouzia Aman posted a collage of black and white pictures of Zara and wrote, “We didn’t realise we were making memories. We just knew we were having fun.”
“Zara Abid, you’ll always be missed,” she added.
Known stylist Tabesh Khoja wrote, “I am just out of words to explain how I feel since you left us. Our only Zaru, you will always be remembered.” He also remembered all those who lost their lives in the tragic crash.

Commenting on Khoja’s post, actress Hira Mani, designer Nomi Ansari, Sadia Khan and Zhalay remembered Zara and prayed for her soul.


Others who remembered the late model include Sadaf Kanwal, Abeer Rizvi and Zara Noor Abbas.
Zara was pronounced dead in the PIA flight crash PK-8303 happened on 22nd May 2020. Initially, the media reported that she has survived. However, her brother later confirmed the sad news and also requested public to not to spread rumors regarding her death.
