Los Angeles Lakers faced a crushing defeat against Oklahoma City Thunder in a 136-120 game.
As reported by Associated Press, on Tuesday night, April 8, during the game, Doncic was ejected after being called for a technical foul for arguing with a fan.
The 26-year-old scored total of 23 points before leaving the game in the fourth quarter.
Following the game, the player expressed his regret about the overall situation noting, "I mean, it was tough."
"I think we fought the whole game... We came back in the third quarter. We were fighting, man. So it was tough to see that with this kind of situation to happen," Luka added.
While taking responsibility he noted, "And you know, that's on me too, so I can't let my team down like that."
Additionally, Jalen Williams added 26 points for the Thunder, who bounced back from a 126-99 loss to the Lakers on Sunday.
For Los Angeles, LeBron James scored 18 points and Austin Reaves added 24 points on the scoreboard.
The Thunder led 80-72 at halftime, however, Doncic's 3-pointers put the Lakers ahead 88-86, which at the end were not enough to score a victory.
Notably, on Wednesday, April 9, Luka Doncic is set to return to Dallas for the first time since his shocking trade to face his former team Mavericks.
