Megan Thee Stallion recently faced a significant health concern after being hospitalised following her historic Broadway debut as Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
According to her hairstylist Kellon Deryck, Stallion became "very ill" while performing in her Broadway show.
The 31-year-old rapper's hairstylist took to his X account and informed, "During Tuesday night’s production [of Moulin Rouge! The Musical], Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated."
"We will share additional updates as more information becomes available," he added, sharing, "Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital."
Moreover, Entertainment news correspondent Loren LoRosa, who was also in the audience, wrote on X Tuesday night, March 31, that the Mamushi hitmaker appeared onstage in a "few opening scenes" but then "they just stopped moulin rouge mid show before apologising to the audience.
According to the news correspondent, the show continued with an understudy who replaced the Where Them Girls At songstress for the remainder of the performance.
The cause of Megan Thee Stallion's health issue hasn't been disclosed yet by the singer nor her representative.
The Body singer made her Broadway debut as Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical at New York's Al Hirschfeld Theatre on March 24, 2026, which will run through May 17.
She announced her Broadway debut back in February that she’d be playing Zidler for a strictly limited eight-week engagement.
