Prince William and Princess Kate are gearing up to leave Kensington Palace amid the ongoing drama surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
On Sunday, September 13, GB News reported that the Prince and Princess of Wales are set to embark on a new trip to Isle of Bute in Scotland this week.
As per the update shared by Kensington Palace, the future King and Queen will visit the Isle of Bute on Thursday, September 17, for their inaugural official trip.
In Scotland, William and Catherine are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay.
During their trip, the royal couple will celebrate the spirit of community, volunteering and connection that defines island life.
The visit will also see William and Kate’s appearance in Rothesay and Port Bannatyne, were they will meet the local island communities.
They will stop at the Anchor Tavern Pub & Hub, which was saved by local residents after it closed in 2020.
The parents of three will also meet people involved in protecting Bute’s natural environment, highlighting their support for conservation.
With their upcoming trip, Prince William and Princess Kate aim to showcase how local people can work together to strengthen and support their community.
